Babies!

Congratulations to my dear friend Mauria, who had her beautiful (and I mean BEAUTIFUL) baby boy yesterday! He comes from good genes. ;)

Backyard Birthday Fun

On Saturday we got to go to Jude's good friend Kaylie's 2nd birthday party!
Joel and Kristin know how to throw a great party, and Kaylie's birthday was "A Bug's Life" theme. It was really cute. I took my camera along and just took a few snapshots. Here's the adorable birthday girl and some of her friends.

. Selah Grace .

We're so happy to introduce to you our sweet baby girl, Selah Grace!
Her name is pronounced "Say-luh", a word found in the book of Psalms in the Bible.
She arrived Sunday, April 20th at 9:30pm, just one hour after my water broke at home! It was a quick delivery! :) She is such a pleasant girl and we're just soaking up every minute with her. Jude loves her and is adjusting to having a little sister. Jude is truly his daddy's boy, so he does get a little jealous when Josh is holding Selah. :)

Those Eyes!

I had a wonderful time shooting Emmett's 1 yr. photos. He is a really happy boy with the most beautiful brown eyes! Look out ladies! :)
The weather was great and it was the perfect day/session to end on before my "baby break".

Belly Shot

I've got to admit that it's a good thing that I don't have much planned between now and my due date, because I've been living in over-sized sweats and napping a lot on the couch these days, and sometimes I don't feel like I have a whole lot of extra energy for more than that!
I've maybe indulged in a "bit" of icecream while on the couch in my pj's this week too... :) I'm so thankful no one has popped-by to see this sight! Not that I'd turn anyone away... in fact, you might want to join me for a cup of Strawberry Tillamook ice cream with milk poured all over it (so it gets crunchy)! It's the next best thing to a carton of frozen solid Coffee Haagen-Dazs!

It's weird to think that soon there will be four of us and that will feel like the new norm! I still remember getting a pedicure with Josh (yes, he did that with/for me!) the day before Jude was born and thinking about how it could be our "last date, just the two of us." :) And of course now we could never imagine a day without our sweet Jude!
We're so excited to welcome this precious girl into our family soon (I'm 2 weeks away from my due date). And I'm excited to get to sleep on my stomach again! :)
My heart is so full of gratitude and thankfulness to the Lord for his good gifts to us and that He cares for us and carries us along.

Do They Come Much Cuter?

Sophia is such a happy girl and gives me the best faces! She is full of smiles and so easy to photograph!! I love it!
I got to photograph her last fall when she was six month old. She's now a year old and looks like such a big girl! Happy 1st Birthday Sophia!
We did her photo shoot at the Portland Rose Gardens, which is a place I love to shoot at, but don't use that often. I was praying on the drive there that the rain would hold off for Sophia's session and the Lord answered that prayer with a yes! It stopped when I got there and started raining again as I was leaving! Thank you Lord! Here are a few of my favorites. :)
