In the midst of...

H.S. Senior Photo season! I've been keeping super busy photographing so many lovely ladies... I'm a little behind in some photo editing, but I've been working until midnight the last few nights trying to keep up! Here's some pictures of Claire and Kelsey at the beach! It was a sunny, gorgeous day, but a little tough dealing with the lighting! I included a photo of the three gals working on shading while I was photographing Kelsey (it's about half way down all these pictures). Pretty fun to see what it takes to get the right lighting!

Cozy Entry Way

This past weekend Josh and I worked around the house and one thing I was most excited to do was hang something in our entry way!!
We moved into our new home 2 years ago and it's taken me that long to actually decorate parts of the house. :) What better to decorate with than some of my favorite family photos? If you have a session coming up and would like to order a matted and framed photograph, I'd love to put one, or two or three, together for you!

Business cards and website photos

I had the privilege of shooting photos this evening for a really sweet and personable woman who is a life coach. She hired me to do photos for her new business cards and website and asked for an outdoor, natural look. She said she did some modeling years back and it showed, because I really never had to pose her. She was so much fun to photograph! Very natural and beautiful.

Blueberry Hill

We're blessed to live in such a beautiful part of the country and to be in a city that is just minutes from all these amazing farms!
This morning Jude and I went blueberry picking at Blueberry Hill with our good friends. The bushes were just heavy with berries and I loved hearing them drop into our buckets.
We had a good time chatting & picking. Time flew by and our boys signaled for us to finish with their shrieking from their strollers and carriers (they wanted out!) :)
I picked about 12 pounds and they're already going fast. Josh and I will probably be sick. :)

Mr. & Mrs. M

I had such a great time photographing Carrie and Billy's wedding this past weekend. It was a beautiful outdoor wedding with perfect weather! My friend Katie came along with me & it was a lot of fun to work with her.
I'm just beginning to edit all their photos, but here are a few that jumped out at me tonight that I couldn't wait to post so Carrie and Billy could get a sneak peek.

Jude's Senior Picture

I don't know why Josh and I thought this was so funny, but we had a good laugh over this picture last night. Probably because we were up late and everything is funny when you're tired. But we thought this looked like a little h.s. senior picture of Jude. :) It will be fun to put next to his real ones in 17 years... oh dear, I'm sure that will be here before we know it. Where have I heard that before? :)
