Chad & Kristin: Puerto Vallarta Destination Wedding

I feel like I don't even know where to start when telling you all about Chad & Kristin's wedding, because it was just SO amazing!

It was the perfect way to kick off my 2013 wedding season. Josh got to come along and shoot this wedding with me, and we also got to stay and vacation in Puerto Vallarta with the wedding party & guests! Oh man, it was so wonderful! The weather was beyond perfect, the resort was so beautiful, the company was a treasure (such a great group), and Chad & Kristin have to be one of the most caring couples I've met. It makes sense that Kristin is a medical nurse because she is so selfless and always thinking of others. Truly beautiful inside and out. And her whole family is the same.

Chad & Kristin got married on an exclusive, private beach hideaway called Las Caletas. We all arrived by boat, and were welcomed in by dolphins swimming alongside our boat, parrots flying overhead and pelicans perched along the coastline. The whole feel of the place almost seemed unreal, like it was out of a fairy tale, or maybe a Disneyland attraction, just so perfectly put together.

Chad & Kristin's wedding was intimate with their closest family and friends in attendance. It was fun watching them all dance the night away, laughing, hugging, and having water fights in the heat of the night. :)

This will always be one of the most memorable weddings I've shot. Everything about it was beautiful, especially the two people who vowed their lives to one another. Congratulations Kristin & Chad! May God richly bless your adventures ahead.

Chloe is TWO!

I got to photograph beautiful Chloe last year for her first birthday, and again this year for her second! Looking back at her photos from last year, she has grown so much! She has so much personality and is as cute as can be... I just love her joyful smile!

Jessica did a great job with their color combo. It's just beautiful. And this amazing spring weather we've been having provided some beautiful light for their session. So thankful for that!

Happy Mothers Day!

Josh surprised me this year by celebrating Mother's Day on Saturday! I had no idea he had this up his sleeve. He and the kids were so quiet in the morning and let me sleep in! Then I woke up to breakfast in bed and cards. Then they sent me out for a day to myself while they took care of the house and Ben's nap time! I said to Selah, "Wow, this is amazing! Every day should be Mother's Day!" ;) And she replied, "No, Mom! Because then we would have to do things ourselves!" Haha! ...from the mouth of babes.

Last night we played Catch Phrase late into the night with my mom and siblings. I love spending time with them and laughing so hard together. Then we all had brunch together this morning. I'm so thankful for my mom, my mom-in-law Chris, and my bonus mom (step mom), Janet. They do so much for us and love us all so well!
