If you've been following me the past several years, then you know that I love to blog weddings and portraits sessions within 2 weeks of when they are shot. I usually can't wait to share photos with everyone! Last summer was unusually busy with us moving and getting resettled, and some other things, and many weddings and sessions just never got shared and it's been eating me every since! :) But it's fun to get to share them now, and who doesn't love to look at beautiful summer images during winter?! I've loved reliving this sweet day through these images.
Gretchen and her bridesmaids got ready at The Nines, in downtown Portland. Their hotel room was full of energy, beautiful sunlight, and Gretchen couldn't have looked more stunning! Then she and Chris met for their "first look" in the charming room near the sanctuary at The Old Church. We were able to take bride and groom portraits, family portraits and wedding party portraits before the ceremony, there in the sanctuary and also in the downtown Portland park blocks. It was such a beautiful day!
After their meaningful ceremony, their guests headed to the reception at the outdoor sculpture gardens at the Portland Art Museum. Since it was only a few blocks away, I got to stroll along with Gretchen & Chris, taking some more couples photos in the park blocks on their way to the reception. I loved how intimate and sweet their whole day was, with their closest family and friends. It was an honor to capture every bit of it! Gretchen & Chris, may you be richly blessed in your many years ahead!

These pictures are lovely... as always. I absolutely love the shade of blue they used. Beautiful. And this pose makes me super excited for summertime in Portland. Well timed!
