What a BEAUTIFUL family!

Photobucket
Tigist & Mihiretu are such joyful children! Tigist (far right) melted my heart right away - she even gave me a big hug half way through their photo shoot! And Jeff & Kristen are like veteran parents to these two amazing children that they were blessed to adopt from Ethiopia this year. We did some family shots, then went and played a little on the playground to get some energy out, then drove a few blocks to use a field, and the kids were troopers and did a great job putting up with my variety of settings! In the field they wore these beautiful outfits Kristen brought back from Ethiopia. It was a privilege to photograph this precious family! Oh, and p.s., Kristen has the most beautiful hair I've ever seen! Isn't she gorgeous?

Eryn & Jasmine . Wedding

Eryn & Jasmine's wedding party was one of the most fun groups I think I've encountered at a wedding so far! Josh came and shot their wedding with me and we fully agreed that these guys were too much fun to be around. Here's a sneak peek from their wonderful day. Congrats you two!

Thomas . Class of '09

I feel pretty fortunate to get to photograph so many wonderful people! And I thoroughly enjoy the company that comes along on a lot of senior shoots. Thomas is a laid back guy with a great personality, so easy to talk to. And in the time I got to spend with his mom too, I realized he probably got a lot of those great traits from her. Here are a couple of my favorite from his session.

Sisters & A New Look

Hey, my blog changed a bit. Thanks to Isaac & Jenni Marshall who left me a helpful & inspirational comment that got me to actually go out there and figure things out for myself! :) Thanks you guys! You rock! I just made up a quick header, that I'll probably change soon, but for now you get to see my sweet Jude, from almost a year ago.

Now onto pictures. Here are Erika and Kristen, beautiful sisters. We shot these right at the end of Erika's senior session and I hadn't gotten to share them yet. :)

They were too cute!

Jacob's Serious Senior Photos :)

Jacob was so easy to photograph. He's an athletic, very involved senior in Lake Oswego, who is also busy coaching a lacrosse team. Here are a bunch of serious shots, one smile, and I liked his shoes. :)

(I've been noticing lately on blogger that when I click on some of these images and you see the bigger version they're blurry...
I've been considering switching blogs sites recently to be able to show larger photos, so stay posted.)

6 Months Fly By!

Sweet Selah is six months old tomorrow and I can hardly believe how quickly the past 6 months went. I know that's a common quote from mothers, but really!
Selah started sitting up on her own last week which is really cute to see. She has busy hands, always grabbing for something. She loves, loves, loves to talk and be talked to (as seen in this 2nd shot of her talking to me). And when she's tired she blows bubbles. Loud, vocal bubbles. :)
She gets the most comments on her bright, shiny eyes and big cheeks (those aren't her only big cheeks, but that's just between you and me, Internet).
I love this little girl more than I could've imagined. She has a sweet, sweet spirit, just like her big brother. She's captivated our hearts and we're so thankful for the gift she is to our family!
