Brain, Anyone?

Pregnancy brain is a very mysterious thing to me. It seems to get worse with each pregnancy. And postpartum brain appears to be just as bad... will I ever get those cells back?
When I was pregnant with Selah I did a few silly, mindless things like drive with the e-brake on, or try to put 2 cd's in the cd player at one time (one on top of the other)... and Josh and I would have a good laugh about it, because trust me, this is not normal Bethany behavior! I'm a sharp person, I promise! (Or maybe I'm giving myself too much credit, lol) After things like that I'd reassure Josh that my brain would come back after Selah was born.... hmmm... well, I'm not sure how much he believes me after yesterday morning. As Josh was toweling off from a nice shower, I was thinking about my own shower - and happy that I would be getting one that wasn't too rushed or too late in the day (because it was our weekend) and he could keep an eye on the kids. :) Well, I walked over to get into the shower and as he was still inside it drying off and I reached in and turned the water on. He was obviously in shock as my hand was heading for the faucet handle because all he could mutter as it was happening was, "are you really?...." and then the rains came down. :) I think the choppy sleep is finally catching up with me!

hahahaha...that is hilarious!:) Well, since I am not the one with a soaking wet towel that is! When Lacy was little I was all frazzled trying on clothes and I thought I was all proud that I finished and lacy cooperated the entire time and I left the dressing roomed, picked up a couple more items, checked out, went to our car and got home...it was there I realized my shirt was inside out! GREAT! I did have a good laugh...but seriously..NO one said anything..help a momma out, will ya!:) Bethany...you are not alone!!

Evi Renee is not quiet 4 months old and I am still suffering, Like setting the baby on the floor and the cat in the bassinet...or the peanut butter in the fridge and the jelly in the cupboard...or as Kev did while I was still preggos, put the cat in the closet and the toilet paper in the crate... but not yet the worst I have heard (a friend gave her 2 year old the carton of milk, and put the cereal in the fridge...) trust me it may take time but hopefully we will come out of it... love all of you hug Jude and Selah from their cousin Evi....
