What's This?
There are lots of things I love in life! My husband, our sweet children, my extended family... the addicting Dolly Parton song that plays on the current Target commercial, crisp fall weather, a cup of tea, and MAKING BABY FOOD! :) I seriously get excited over making healthy, super tasty baby food. This fall it's been even more fun because my friend Mauria and I collaborated on a few recipes and got fruit/veggies from family gardens and trees. Selah is less than a week from being 6 months old and she gets clearly upset at dinner time that we're all eating and she is not, so we usually give her a spoon to hold and chew on. Well, today she seemed like she'd had enough, so I let her have a little taste of some apple puree and her face said, "what's this?" I think she's still more excited about the spoon. :) (you can click on the photo to see the larger version)

Hi Bethany! I found your blog through the Riders and just love your photos! It is wonderful that you turned something you love into a career. My husband and I dabble in design and photography, and are dreaming up a little side business of our own- I get even more inspired when I see others, such as yourself, who have been so successful! I'll look forward to seeing more of your beautiful work=)
so cute bethany! i agree; i love making aspen's food with good, fresh ingredients. most of my friends think it's too time consuming, but i love it. i can't believe selah's almost 6 months old!!! where'd the time go?
how cute! Audrey has that same gap hat in blue!
Fun! That phase just zipped by with James...glad you're enjoying it!
I know, I love making baby food too. Thanks for sharing some of the applesauce you and Mauria made with me. It is so fun now that Tyler can pretty much eat most fruits and veggies. His favorite combos are pumpkin-banana-oatmeal with a dash of cinnamon and anything with plums (peach-plum, apple-plum, banana-plum, YUM PLUM). I don't blame him ... it is really good. Happy blending :)
You have such a gorgeous daughter! I hope Josh is ready for the day when the boys start showing up!
PS I loved making my babies food too. I felt like an earth mother (is that Christian??). Oh...you know what I mean!
