Kristin: Woodrow Wilson High School Senior

I can't believe Kristin is a high school senior already! I've known this beautiful, joyful girl for a number of years now. Her sister Erica (I got to do her senior pics too, a couple years ago) came along and I loved spending time with them both! What mature, well-rounded girls. Here are a few of my favorites of Kristin... you're gorgeous Kristin!

I love how she doesn't take herself too seriously!

Kristin is also an incredibly talented violinist!

Happy Senior Year Girly!

Paige: Lake Oswego High School Senior

I love hs senior sessions. It was great getting to meet Paige, and her mom and sisters, who joined us for her shoot. We got to use their family friend's property out in Aurora, which was really beautiful! Paige has such a pretty smile and was fun to photograph.

We took some photos of Paige with her sisters, before one sister had to leave for college. The three of them have a sweet friendship!

Katie: 2011 Lake Oswego Senior

Katie was cracking me up the whole time we were shooting. She has so much personality and would occasionally give me some of the best...er, "worst" hs senior poses ever on purpose... sometimes I was laughing so hard I couldn't even hold my camera still to shoot straight. So tempting to post some of those goof off shots. :) But of course these photos here all came easy for her because she's naturally beautiful.

Her sister Sarah came along on her shoot too, and let's just say it was like Katie squared. :) The two of them together... hilarious! I love their fun personalities!
Happy Senior Year, Katie!

Danielle . HS Senior Photo Shoot

I'm down in Corvallis today enjoying a day with family and loving it! We celebrated my brother Caleb's 24th birthday last night with cards, cupcakes, big cookies, and staying up way too late talking. :) But we never want to go to bed because we all love being together! Happy Birthday Caleb! We love you more than you could know!

This morning the kids have been outside helping Grandma J & Granddad K in the garden and they've gotten to see some big trucks deliver gravel for a new pathway - very exciting event for a 2 & 4 year old! I've loved listening to them and watching them from the window as I work a bit. I'm just soaking up their cute voices and comments! :) Memories.

Tonight I'm looking forward to photographing a family on OSU's campus. A little Local Boyz for dinner would make the day complete. :)

I just finished up a hs senior session that I had a lot of fun photographing. Danielle was so natural and relaxed in front of the camera. She's the captain of dance team at her high school, and I think that artist side of her that's so use to performing in front of crowds came through in how easy it was to photograph her.

She has really beautiful eyes that stand out in so many of her photos.
Happy Monday!

Michelle: Class of 2010

Michelle is a sweet girl. She's bubbly and friendly and rocked her red Uggs! :) Here are a few from her senior session.

Sarah: Class of 2010

I'm behind in my blogging! I've been busy. I have a few more sessions to share with you, a few I'm editing, and just did another photo shoot today after getting home from spending the weekend at the beach with family. The season is shifting from high school senior sessions to family photo shoots for Christmas cards. It's a fun time of year. I sure enjoy all seasons of photography... babies in the spring, weddings in the summer, hs seniors in the fall, and families sprinkled all throughout the year with a bunch right before Christmas. :)

I want to do a swap with a photographer friend to get some photos of our family this year. In the past I've mostly put my camera on a tripod and it's not easy to get a kid to look at a camera when there's no one there dancing behind it. :) My entry way photos don't have Selah in them, so they desperately need updating!! Poor second child. lol.

I recently photographed Sarah and loved spending a little bit of time with her. I know her and her older sister, who I photographed her senior year too. Beautiful girls. Beautiful features. Very sweet spirits. Sarah is a hard worker and has already mapped out where she's going to college and what she'll be studying. Go Sarah!
