Brooke's High School Senior Shoot

When I was a young teenager this sweet family moved into this beautiful house down the road from our property. I was so excited when I got asked to babysit their kids! I loved babysitting and instantly adored these kids. I remember watching Pocahontas a few times :), playing in their yard, wrestling with the boys (they could take me down even when they were little!), helping the kids brush their teeth before putting them to bed... and now those kids are all grown up!

Brooke is now a beautiful senior in high school! I loved getting to see her again and see her mom. They're as sweet as ever. Here are a "few" of my favorites... p.s. I loved her colorful outfits!

Lea & Darian

Lea just graduated and is going to work in the travel industry. She has such an excitement and passion for what she's doing - I just love it! We met in these beautiful woods that she grew up visiting regularly with her dad.




She wanted to capture herself amidst her books that she worked so hard to study through.



Her husband Darian now manages these forests! Isn't that cool? Darian was so enjoyable to be around and is one of those people that's really easy to talk to.





These two are really sweet together... married for almost 6 years now. Congrats on your new adventures Lea!

Maria: Part 2

I love hs senior sessions. Just love them! It was great photographing Maria and spending a little time getting to know her and her sweet mom.
I chose mostly serious shots for this post, but I think the last shot in this series shows the hilarious side of her great personality too. :)

Cory's Senior Shoot, Part II

I really like the mood of this first shot. It may be one of Cory's only serious shots. I just loved her warm, genuine smile all throughout her shoot. She was smiling even when we weren't taking pictures. Who doesn't enjoy being around a person like that? :) Go Cory!

Cory is as cute inside as she is out. She was up for any of my ideas and was so easy to photograph. I'll share another round from her senior session soon! There are so many great ones! :)

Madison . Class of 2010

I love the feel of this first shot... it's a little underexposed, but I really like it that way, so I left it on purpose.
Hayley did a beautiful job with Madison's hair and make up and Madison was SO easy to photograph. The three of us had a great time and I busted up laughing a couple times.... Madison, you can be so hilarious!

I've had an idea for awhile, brewing in the back of my mind. I love to photograph hs seniors and I love that I get to do so many graduate sessions each year!

I'm developing a new hs senior package for Bethany F Photography called Senior Couture sessions. It's designed for seniors who love fashion, or modeling... or are maybe crazy fans of ANTM (America's Next Top Model)? :) No, it's really for any hs senior who would love to go all out on a photo shoot with the hair, make up, outfits and take a little direction while modeling for the camera in a totally laid back environment. I wish I could do it! :) We're out to have fun and capture YOU. Another session is coming later this month so look for it (I'm sure it will take on another look of it's own)! More details and pricing will be coming soon too. We're gearing up to start booking these sessions in late spring/early summer.

My beautiful, and long time friend, Hayley, is a hair stylist in downtown Portland and will be doing the hair and make up for Bethany F Photography's Senior Couture sessions. Hayley and I recently did a shoot, as we're developing the process, and here are some preliminary images (ok a lot of images) of her. She's as sweet as a person can be, so don't be fooled by all of the "fierce" faces! ;) Stay tuned for another preliminary Senior Couture session later this month!
