Day 9: Photo 366

I'm really enjoying the Blurb Books I ordered. I have another one on the way, to complete our time-line and have us caught up through 2011. I ordered the proline paper, and it looks great. It's fun to have our family related blog posts all in one place, like being able to read a book about our family life. I think our kids will really enjoy them when they're older. :)

{Shot with Canon 5D MarkII, 50mm f/1.2L lens, ISO 100, 1/20 sec, f/1.8, and a little bit of flash bounced off chair on my left, because I forgot to shoot these while there was daylight. Speaking of... I feel like I'm kind of a bad Photo 366'er because I often forget to take a picture before there's any daylight left!}

Question for you...I too have been wanting to order Blurb books...but have wondered how the images will turn out because I download low resolution images onto my blog. Do you too download low resolution images or do you download high ones onto your blog...and then how do the photos look in the Blurb book. Have a Happy Sunday!

I love the white background for your book covers. I've done mine in black and love them but like the crispness of the white. You and your kids will so enjoy those books. I am so impressed you've gotten so much done already!

I love Blurb. I need to do this but starting going back 5 years when Peyton was born is so intimidating! I love giving Blurb books as gifts. I bet yours are absolutely gorgeous with all those flawless photos! I love the white. Very simple and classy.

These look beautiful Bethany! I too am so impressed that you're almost all caught up. What little treasures for your family :)

Oh and as for your 366 day project, just taking it on is so impressive! I liked this post from iheartfaces with tips too, especially the suggestion to take a picture each morning just in case you don't fit in another one during the day...

Great link Amber! Thanks!!
Erin, feel free to email me. And Amber has been making them for a while too, so she probably has a lot of great tips!
Julie, the images on my blog are 850 px wide, and they look great in the book, but I also uploaded the full resolution images for pictures that I wanted to make really large or full page size. And I followed their "resolution warnings" almost 100%, but occasionally ignored them if I wanted to make a photo just a little larger, and I could see a tiny bit of "pixelation" on the ones I ignored the resolution warning on, just fyi.
Leticia, I bet your books are beautiful!
Nicole, once I got going I couldn't stop - I bet you'd feel the same if you just started with your first blog post! :)

Oh I love blurb books. I made one last year for my parents and in-laws. Still need to order mine. Took me 8 months though to work on mine. Took a lot from my blog but added lots as well. Had almost 80 pages. Love it though and need to do it again. I think if u go on my blog u can find it under Christmas tab and check it out. Although it's been a year so not sure if I need to up-load it again or not. How fin though it's like scrap booking but without the mess. Little hands don't help with paper, scissors and small pieces. Loved doing it all on the computer. :)

On my blog you can view our blurb Book under the tab crafts and then it's called eternal legacy- Kramer 5. Sorry I thought it was under Christmas tab since I gave it as a Christmas gift!
